Marine Boy Productions have their own custom built filming vessel, M.V. Southern Explorer. This 25 foot custom built fibreglass mono hull offers a very comfortable ride and great stability for filming. It has an additional tower to spot and film from, particularly good for cetacean work. It has a diver’s side door making it a very easy and safe platform to work from.

M.V. Southern Explorer is powered by twin 200 horse power Yamaha four strokes offering great reliability and economy and also very quiet to use. It has the latest state of the art Garmin electronics and is in marine survey for 6 clients plus 2 crew.

Their vessel is on a trailer and offers great flexibility in location choice. Marine Boy Production also has a close alliance with a number of quality charter vessels in South East Australia and can offer the perfect choice for underwater or above water filming platforms.
