About Marine Boy Productions

Marine Boy Productions is an Australian based (Melbourne) marine theme underwater video production and charter business established in 1996. Marine Boy Productions specialises in the filming of open water subject matter, particularly larger animals such as marine mammals and sharks. They also specialise in offering support to other film crews who may wish to film the amazing and unique marine life of Australia and the South Pacific. Marine Boy productions also offer select photographic expeditions to film sharks, whales and other amazing marine life.

The business is owned and operated by Robert Torelli. Robert is one of the South Pacific’s most experienced free divers and specialises in filming whilst free diving, i.e. without SCUBA equipment. Robert has gained an international reputation of being able to produce world class images, either as an underwater cameraman or as a consultant, assisting other film companies.

Robert has also led expeditions for some of the world’s most respected natural history production companies and professional still photographers. Please read some of our testimonials.

Destinations Marine Boy Productions offer include the Coral Sea, Tonga, New Zealand along with the south, east and west coast of Australia.

Marine Boy Productions also have a vast stock footage library, post production facility, charter vessel and a number of consultants they employ to assist production companies with their projects.
